Antler growth

Postby flv » Mon Jan 27, 2014 11:36 am

Is it possible for a buck to add 20 + inchs from age 3.5 to 4.5 ? Last year i had many pictures of a 120 class 8pt freqenting a food plot in late season and on into winter. I ended up finding both sides of his sheds in early march 2013. Going foward to early December he showed back up on plot camera looking bigger. I killed the buck at the end of muzzleloader season , green score 146. now not so sure same deer .

Simple answer: YES. Reasons: better diet, good genetics, and less competition for the minerals and food.
